Weddings are stressful and the last thing that you want to worry about is your makeup. If you are looking for some quick and useful bridal beauty hacks, you are reading the right blog! Below you will find five of my top beauty tips, so that you are absolutely fabulous on your big day.
Hack #1: Set Your Lipstick
The last thing that anyone wants, is smeared lipstick on their special day. To avoid this from happening, take a lip scrub and gently exfoliate before applying the lipstick. Exfoliating will help make your lips smoother, making the lipstick glide on with ease.
Once you wash off the lip scrub, take a little bit of concealer or foundation on a sponge and dab it onto your lips. With a base to cling onto, the lipstick will stay on your mouth for a longer time. After your base is prepped, apply your lipstick as you normally would. Be sure blot your lips with a single ply piece of tissue, and then press a small amount of translucent powder on your lips through the tissue. Try Alayne Curtiss Bridal Beauty Bare Beauty HD Finishing Powder Here, which is finely milled and absorbs just enough moisture.
Keep in mind, that you don’t want to over do it with the powder. Doing so will hinder the color, you only need a little to set your pout in place.
Hack #2: Use Nude Eyeliner
Nude Eyeliner helps to brightening your eyes and create the illusions that your eyes are bigger and more awake. The same effect can be accomplished with white eyeliner, but the muted nude shade will appear more natural and less cartoon-like. Hack #3: Use a Concealer Brush to Remove Smudges
Arguably one of the most frustrating things is when you apply your makeup perfectly, but then you end up smudging your mascara. Your first instinct may be to wipe the smudge away with your finger…DON’T. It will only make the smudge worse, and ruin all of your hard work.
Instead of using your finger try using a small concealer brush with a touch of concealer still on it. Dip your brush into a bit of silicone based face primer, and gently blend out the smudge with light little strokes.
Hack #4: Whiten Eyes
Use eye whitening eye drops like Lumify or Naphcon-A before starting your makeup. You may have done a bit of crying at the welcome dinner or after receiving flowers and reading the card delivered from your future husband . Reduce any redness in Your eyes for most of the evening with this hack.
Hack #5: Get Fuller Looking Lashes
If you are looking to get fuller looking lashes, start by curling your lashes. Warm the curler slightly with a blow dryer and test on your wrist before putting the curler to your eyes. This will also open your eyes and make them seem larger. You will then want to apply mascara to both your upper and lower lashes. Use the “wiggle method” to coat the entire lash from the base to the tip. Pay a little extra attention to your upper lashes as they will help give you a fuller look. Once your mascara is dry, press the mascara brush against the roots of your upper lashes. Doing this will add extra volume, but still give you a natural look. Next apply lash strips or individual lashes for even bigger bridal eyes.
