Practice is so important, especially when dealing with something that is so personal like hair or makeup. Your staff may complain about going to classes, but these classes help them learn more and grow. No employee wants to be an assistant forever, so give them the opportunities that will help reach their goals and get them where they want to go. Even when you aren’t currently hiring, be sure to maintain a relationship with the people in this file. When it comes time to hire, you will probably have more candidates than what you originally thought.
